well with a budget of £350, you have a lot of options. for just tires that is. i just bought a set of Yokohama A539 for £140 shipped. should be getting them put on later.

yea, Toyo's have a good reputation. well there isn't an "official" standard tire size as different manufacturers use different sizes, but i would say around 185/60/14. could be wrong.

GTI's seem to vary between 195/50 15's and 205/50 15's . Ive got Toyo Proxies T1R on and they seem to be very good for me .

I use these guys http://www.event-tyres.co.uk/  ive used them twice now and have found them brilliant . They turn up at your location and do 2 tires in about 10 minutes.

Right, four new tyres fitted for £258.51, well pleased with them and the service was not bad,the bloke had trouble getting the wheel lock nuts off and I ended up having to get a new set at £33.00 having to drive down to Halfords with only four bolts in!! But as said well happy, defo corners better
