Title: GTTDI ECU Problem

Hello

My GT TDI has starting problems, checked it all out, mechanic says it is def. the wire that goes from ECU to the Glow Plug Relay.. I dont know much about this kind of stuff, he said that the ECU basically had a problem with it, summin to do with the timer. He suggests I change my ECU..

Im thinking if it is possible to pick up a performance ECU for my GT TDI 110BHP- 1998. Any guesses on how much and if this is possible? How many BHP gain wud I be lukin at?

i'd get a 2nd opinion.. sounds like he's talking tosh.
