Got my first fine/points through the post today :(
60 Quid and 3 points for going 43 in a 30 zone and it wasnt even in a built up area.
Id like to see where my money goes as i bet it wont be spent on the roads >:(

yeah got shot in nottingham a few years back when wifey wanted to goto ikea!!!, they have them point a to b cams and there a right twot!!, at the time i was also insuring a motorbike so i couldnt afford points, so as it was her idea to go there she took the points and i paid the ?60!!!!!!, a few years before that i got stopped on the way back from lincoln at wragby, i was doing about 90 in a vectra, mr bike cope was gunning me then came after me, he gave it the usual speel, we denied doing that insane speed as got kids in car and asked him when his radar gun was last calibrated and wether hed got his certificate handy, this got him mad and he threatened to do me and i said go ahead cause if it aint calibrated youll get laughed out of court so he gave me a producer and told me to get off sharpish!!!!, i knew reading the ex traffic cop handbook a few weeks before would come in handy!! lol ;D ;D so at the mo been driving 12 years and zero points!! ;D

my conviction record reads
3 points - March 1993 - 120mph M6 - motorbike (bloody lucky with that one)
4 points - April 1993 - 86 in a 60 - motorbike (obviously thought Iwas taking the mick, after just being caught)
3 points - February 1999 - 54 in a 30 - Celica GT4 (country road, no house, small sign behind a bush, only had car a couple of days)
6 points - March 2003 - 96 in 60 - Golf Cab (impressed it manged to go that fast)
Also been stopped more times than I care to remember, for seat belts, dodgy number plates, speeding, and riding what I found out was a bike with a stolen frame (try talking your way out of that one :-X )
So, once again - welcome to the club, and I'm sure its the start of a beautiful career

I got caught doin 101.7 on the M4 near Swindon on Tuesday in my merc 316 sprinter(new havin a 160bhp van would get me in the sh!t sooner or later)
There i was mindin my own business, sat up the ares of a new mk5 TDi, checkin out, and flew right past a copper on the hard shoulder pointin a hair dryer at me!
Looks like I'm gonna get done for the dangerous drivin too, BOLLOCKS!

got caught doing 35. they gave me the option of going on a speed awareness course for ?80 that got rid of the points and ?60 fine

Pulled 95 in a 30 warning, 65 in a 30 producer both same stretch of road, but 2 different cars, never been caught in my golf ;D

I got a producer after doing a U-turn on a mini roundabout at 30 on a 30 road. Pulled me over and asked me what speed i was doin, i said 30 cos thats the limit ;D.

ive also had 35 roadside breath tests and 7 roadside drugs tests in just over 2 years. I keep the white tubes. Dozy ba$tards still havent learnt that I dont drink and drive ;D

I have been done for doing 71mph in a 60 zone. 3 points and ?60 - Bastards
But having said that I have got a good story.
I came out of my drive one night onto a main road which turned into a dual carriage way within 2 miles.
I saw some headlights in my rear view mirror and they were coming closer, so I decided to put my foot down and try to lose the other car (which I thought was a boy racer).
Turned out to be a copper in a V5 Volvo
Got stopped, slapped my wrists - did not even breathalise my???

I got tailed by a motorbike cop, yeah I was driving a bit keen on my way to footy. I slowed down early when I spotted him but he still followed.
When he did pull me over, I got out car in full footy gear, boots shin pads team colours.
he asks ' So where you going to in such a rush?'
WTF!!
'Bloody choir practice mate, what do you think?' - what I thought.
Told me to slow down and let me off.

was coming home from work long stretch of open road running to my house was doin just shy of a ton when a cop car went tother way i saw him turnin slowed down turned into my street parked up turned round and there was a cop car bottom of my drive, was his word against mine so he couldnt do me ;D

Had a rover 220 turbo coupe once, on last years new years eve me n a mate were goin down a hill on the A1 near sawtry, he was drivin, at 155mph, flew past a T5, his blue lights came on, we didn't slow down, didn't get cought! Figered he'd had to do some think like 190mph to catch us, so my mate said f**k it!
Wish i had the balls to keep goin!!!
One thing to bear in mind thou, T5's 150 mph, choppers. 150mph, there radio to the next piggy up the road 8000feet per second!!!!!!!!!!!!1

85 in a 30.
unfortunately, he didn't catch me, only managed to get me when i saw him legging it after me in a big jamjar. chuck out the anchors. grovelled for my life. walked with no producer or points.
Pulled away from an off duty cop once at 105 in a 40. again, got a boll*cking but nothing came of it. Not my fault she couldnt keep up.

155 in a 60 on my GSX1100.. Scared the hell out of me and the biggest rush I have ever had in my whole born life.. Managed to get away with it by diving into an industrial estate and hiding behind a sheet metal skip!
Apart form that, the usual 40ish in a 30 a couple of times and running a copper off the road coming from the opposite direction in Wimborne (Dorset) in my old mini.. His word against mine so I got away with it, until he had me marked and got me pulled a week later for 37 in a 30 !!!! *groans*

My brother in-law.
Hes a proper boy racer, hes had everything from Golf GTI's, Astra GSI's and now hes got a WRX Scooby!
anywayz, hes 25 and hes had OVER 12 points already ... i think hes had 15 ... not sure ... but hes also been banned cos he had over 12 at once.

hey i dont condone road racin or fast road speeds ive been stopped and blaghge dmy way out of it, my license is too important to me too losse it or even contemplet getting points!!! yeah i know ive sped as in top speed posts onm k4 section but only every now and then and ive been lucky!!!, if u speed be lucky, i dont mind out of town limits but if your in a 30 and you hit one of my kids at 90 etc wo betide u life for a life nuff said >:(

not so often im doin 90 in a 30, but workin shifts open stretch of road i can see far enough in front of me not to worry, and kids shouldnt be roamin streets at time i was out in my opinium, not sayin that urs do gaz ::)

been pulled over for thin numberplate lettering twice in 5 minutes though :o
got slapped a ?30 fine and they raided my car for drugs >:(
I dont really speed, i love the attention when at crusing speeds 8)

AdamB, 15 points in 2 years that saw me off with a 9 month ban TT99. 3 x 3 points a few 40's in 30's and a 68 in a 50 plus 102 in a 70 and got 6 points. 4 years before that I got with 78 in 30, gave me 3 points for doing 58???? Now got a clean licence ( 4 1/2 years without any points).
By the way, got most of those points in a 106 diesel ( including the 78mph one)!! Never been done in either my mkI GTI or in my GLi ragtop......
