anyone know how much the stealers charge for a replacement key?

I was quoted 55 + vat for a key fob, then a further 50 to tune it to my 01 golf.
Absolute joke.

Anyone have a cheaper alternative?....please :undecided:

yer i seen blanks but they need coding, far as i can find u can code it to open/close the car yourself but not the transponder internally.

Try Vagtech on 01525 279513 - tell them i gave you the number he can usually reprograme keys etc and is resonable.
