Hello! I am another new addition, but not a virgin when it comes to vw's.  I have owned:

11 Beetles
2   Split screen vans
1   Mark 1 1.1 Golf
1   1982 Jetta GLi
2   Mark 1 Golf GTi's
1   Mark 1 Passat
1   Mark 2 Passat Estate
1   1982 Polo CL
1   Mark 1 Scirocco GL
1   Mark 2 Scirocco GTi
3   Mark 2 Golf Gti's

I have just bought my fourth Golf GTi mark 2 as a rolling restoration.  Love VW's as they left the factory and will continue to rescue many more from the scrappy!
