Title: Superchips Bluefin - Edition 30
Post by: phope on 15 March 2007, 23:25
Just saw this on another forum link

Have always been sceptical of Superchips, but that seems like a decent result for a removable map
I wonder what the other tuners will be able to extract from the KO4 and stronger engine

307hp and 391nm is great, but with front wheel drive, traction must be hellish!

Went to Ultimate Dubs on Sunday and spoke to "the derv doctor". He asked me to contact him via e-mail and this was his reply

Hello,

I have spoke to BSR Sweden about this and they are hoping to get there hands on one very soon. I will be in touch as soon as this is available.

They think its the S3 engine in that car which goes to 308 bhp.

Regards,

                            Gavin

Looks like another option as this would also be a reversible OMD port product that he says will have free updates whenever any more "refined" programmes are developed.

Also noticed that the standard output of the ED 30 is 244bhp on the Superchip test result as standard. So only 3bhp less than the R32!!!!!
