Title: What wires what? (Mk 4 golf)

Hi All,

I'm wiring in a nokia hands free kit into a mk4 Golf GTi TDi. I've pulled the stereo out but can't identify the remote, power and earth wire. Have you any idea what wires are what behind the standard stereo? I've checked the manual but it doesn't help.

Try this link... it should work assuming you have the standard gamma head unit..

If you have the standard gamma head unit you will find there will be shed laods of interferance, you can only cure this with either an aftrmarket stereo or a special mute lead from the same people as the link. I have had this experience with both golfs and passatts..... Parrot hands free kits dont interfer mind.
