Title: Rear brake pads
Post by: paultownsend on 15 March 2007, 13:05
good afternoon ladies and gentlemen

i have a 91 golf gti. i recently changed to the 22.2mm master cylinder which i can reccommend to anyone for £35. much firmer pedal and less travel. i further changed to some black diamond brake pads which again made a big differance from the last set of so called performance pads.

my question is this, will changing the rear pads, from my £5.99 Halfords pads to the black diamond pads make that much difference seen as though the rears only have say 25% braking to deal with? especially for £35?

Paul

rear pads arn't worth spending a fortune on, as you say they hardly do any braking at all!
