Title: HELP. Fitting a new rear box to Golf 1.6 Driver?

Is it an easy job to do? I am replacing like with like (standard rear box). Is it an easy swap? Also, should I get a replacement from the scrappy or not?

getting the old one off is the hardest bit, sometimes they pop off easy, sometimes they're proper stuck!

If you can find a goodun in the scrappy by all means go for it, but remember my comment above  :grin:

Cheers. Well I'll ask my scrappy for one - will see if it's difficult to take off  - or pay the local garage £40 to fit. Thanks.
