Title: Help with battery replacement in keyfob
Post by: JAKESANGEL on 12 March 2007, 10:02
I know this might sound like a divvy question and i'm sure the topic may have been covered before but i cant seem to work out how to replace the battery in my keyfob. (its a 2001 2.0cc GTi if that helps). I have managed to pull the fob in half but cant see what to do next. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I hate having to open the car by key and if i dont start it quickly enough the alarm goes off. Cheers

IIRC just pull it in half and then the half comes part will be tight as there is a seal to keep water out
