Title: when were big bumpers introduced?
Post by: phil88 on 09 March 2007, 23:17
hiya, i got a 16v gti couple of months ago its a D reg so that would make it an 86, been looking up on stuff and ive found that the big bumpers were introduced in 90. With out it sounding to obvious would that mean the previous owner had them put on after? just from the state of the car it looked like it was totally standard. thanks

couple of shots of me car

deffo put on after just by looking at it (trained eye)

90 spec mk2's have thinner side mouldings and full front window glass

Still a nice mk2
