Title: show us your dipstick....

Anyone got a close up of their dipstick.....oh er :shocked:...the orange bit on mine is broken...is this just one piece that you buy from ebay i.e dipstick guide? can i remove the peice from my dipstick and put a new piece on or do i need both...new dipstick and guide?

Sorry if that dont all make sense, just hard to explain...piece from where dipstick goes also has a broken piece of plastic?

Go To VW , all these parts are readily available . And not very expensive , in some cases cheaper than ebay .

I agree buy from vw as i bought a german made copy and it was a crap fit!!!! and this effects the breather system caus if it's not sealed it's like having a split breather pipe (and if you look at poor running problem's on here you will see many caused by split breather pipe's)

i had to change mine before, went to vw cost about 2 or 3 quid, did consider ebay untill vw gave me that price.
