Title: mp3 problems on new gti
Post by: Mutley on 08 March 2007, 22:51
I've just picked up my new GTI and it doesnt play MP3's. I told the salesman that I wanted the stereo that played them and he told me that they all do. But the manuel says that it has to have the MP3 logo on it. I think I'm going to kick off

What format are you playing them in. mine will play them from a CD as long as I don't store the track in separate folder within the CD

What head unit do you have? The RCD300 does not play mp3 files.  Some versions of the RCD500 do.
