Title: Where's the engine code.

Picked up a cheap 2.0 engine this week with all the gubbings and as it was cheap I wasn't too worried what the code was. I say this as i'll either do a 2L conversion in mine below or slap it into my brothers Mk1 Gti.
Anyway, haven't had a good look at yet but i'm wondering where do I find the engine code? :huh:
As soon as I know I can decide what to do with it.

should be on the front of the block sort of central usually covered in s**te !
