weitec UK have offered to supply a spring distance kit, because their springs are lowering my valver too much!
I think this is very decent of them but I'm unsure if I like the sounds of them

They must surely alter the way the car rides and handles????
Would any of you peeps accept them I can fit them myself so its only my time I lose if they are crap, but them I'm back to square 1!
Should I haggle for a set of coilies
What do you reckon???
-
get a refund and buy some decent eibach springs !!
-
I doubt very much I would get my money back! They are the correct springs but for some reason my car is too low on them???
I'm wishing I had gone for the eibachs now, but they were another £50!
Back to the question though - would any of you lot stick these plastic spacers in your springs???
-
I wouldn't use anything like that, fitting a lowering kit and then raising the car back up seems a bit pointless
-
I don't think they are meant to be fitted on a lowering kit?!?
I think they are meant to give extra height to std. when towing??
I'll email them back see what else I can do, I'm going to end up with no floor and front spoiler soon - keep catching things!!!
-
Oh, O.K. I think I missed the point :embarassed: :embarassed:
-
just an update...
today I recieved my spanking eibach -20mm!!!
Can't wait to get them on, either 2moro or Sat!!!
In the end Weitec would only give me 10% discount on a set of coilovers, making them about £420 (as opposed to about £470!) so I passed on their offer and done a deal with Venom Msport for eibachs!
Will let you know how I get on!
