Title: Can someone tell me...

When i turn the electronics on in my car, IN-02 starts to flash where the mileage clock is. It also does it when i turn my car on. It will flash for a bit then go back to the mileage. What does that code mean?

Its a service interval reminder mate. There's loads of posts on the forum which tells you how to clear the service reminders but none of them have worked for me, mine still has in 02 on

I did mine mate,

you press and hold the trip counter reset button, switch on the ignition (remember to do the immob too so all the ignition lights come on) and hold the button in till the mileage display flashes and goes to OEL - then switch the ignition off before letting the button go. Resetting each entry (there are three) will show ---- then back to that entry name.

Pressing in the bottom clock adjust button resets the first service reminder OEL (oil) , press the trip button once, it changes to IN01, press bottom clock button again to clear (this is 7500 mile service marker) then repeat the trip button once more to get IN02, (15000 mile service) and reset with the clock button again.

press the trip button once more to get OEL on the display and switch on the ignition again. The display will change to IN00 then the miles or trip display. Your done!

The display doesn't flash and go to OEL until you have turned off the ignition then released the trip counter button. It will just flash IN 02 then display the mileage until you turn off the ignition then let go of the button. Thats what was confusing me!

Now says OEL when I switch on the engine. Any idea what OEL is supposed to mean?

means you still havent cleared the oil service reminder - as i said above you must clear OEL, IN01, IN02 seperately so clearing IN02 alone will result in IN01 being shown all the time, then doing this one causes OEL to show, finally clearing OEL reminder makes IN00 appear (all clear).

You must clear all three before the engine shows IN00 on start up.
