Title: Members ages
Post by: DarnPB on 28 February 2007, 20:34: I was a member of the Cobra replica club and someone put up this question. How old are you? The average age of the members was mid 40's to early 50's, making me at the time a bit of a spring chicken at 32.
I pose the same question now.

I think he is older than that. In 1066 Len actually helped the King and Britain with the Battle of Hastings. They say he was King Harold's top Archer and killed thousands of invading enemies. :grin:

I heard he was a viking, hence why he to this day has a love of boatish tpye vehicles :grin:

Been messing with cars since my first....a Hilman Imp, you'd have thought I should have grown out of it but since my son started driving a couple of years ago its all come back again, I just can't resist a tinker, it started with his mk2 driver & now his mk3. I just had to go out and get a mk2 16v for myself....but had to sell while we move house......still, should be in new house at the end of June so will immediately go and buy another.......... presuming there's any good ones left! :smiley:

Looking at the sigs & posted pics there's definitely a connection between age and taste in Golfs.
A lot of us 'older' owners seem to prefer the simple/standard look.
