Title: Removing the drivers door panel
Post by: Burnsy on 27 January 2004, 06:47
Is it straight forward to take the drivers door panel off, especially the the leccy window control panel (as im thinking it may crack easy) ?
As i need to get to the switch that operates the courtesy light which is near the door handle so ive been told .As its packed in .

have taken me passenger door panel off when me window reg broke, not sure where courtesy light switch is on the mk4 as on other models its alwats been a pin switch on the a post/??, any way theres some torx screws and 1 or 2 phillips screws then lift it up on off she comes, its pretty simple really just take your time, every things on plugs so if you nee to remove whole panel just unplug all switches ect ;D
