Hi
How do convertibles sound with bass? i have got "15 sub in boot but it sounds like crap compared to when its in my brovs vectra, any1 had good bass out of cab?
-
course i have! check my post about my DB drag effort, it may be on the next page, im selling the car too.
-
Do subs need to be in an inclosure, as in the boot for optimum performance?
-
they need to be an a box type of thing really (could be a nice boot build), the right enclosure measurements are quiet important, some people use free air designs though, I dont know how this works and I have only ever used boxes as i always find they sound bad without a box, there is apparantly a way to do it though.

another bit of advice is, as cabs have a sealed boot (no parcel shelf!) when no one is sat on the back seats, have the back rest part of the rear seats pulled forward to allow the bass into the car more.
