Title: Crankshaft position sensor

Hi,
Can anyone tell me what the part number for a Crankshaft position sensor is ?

Car is a 8V 2.0L GTi, AGG type engine (1998).

do you mean the hall sensor?

if so check on euro car parts and if it is parts number 418440100 i have a brand new one still boxed. they are 35 quid

If you mean a crankshaft sensor (engine speed sensor) then here's a link to ebay. I brought mine from here and it worked a treat.
