Got a 1989 Oak Green Valver. Someone told me that Oakgreen wasn't introduced until 1990. Can any of you boys confirm this. My 89 is small bumper, 14'' BBS, leccy windows,3 door. Colour code is L94E in original service schedule which is oakgreen. Not a nice colour IMO. Should have gone for blue!
Cheers

Oak Green Mk2's were 1st available as a Limited Edition with the 1988 (E-Reg) Campaign Model. These came with rainbow interiors, bbs, leccy windows etc. and were small bumper models.
I like the colour personally, but you're right about blue being a better colour.................

Cheers keef, for putting my mind at rest. Not too bad a colour, hides dirt not quite as rare as people make out. Three of us went and bought Mk2 valvers when we met up to check em out, all three were oakgreen! All of us thinking we got the special one. lol. Had a white cabby, black streaks from roof whenever it rained not so good.
