Title: exhaust

is it possible to put a 8v gti exhaust manifold onto a  driver with no modifications? or very little?

if u use the manifold u also need the same down pipe too
not sure abt rest of system as i replced it all with gti stuff

was thinking of getting a gti manifold and downpipe, then getting a straight through mid silencer and then a performance exhaust. would all of that work?

the manifold should go straight on, then in which case when you buy your exhaust, you can buy a gti exhaust so it'll fit your new downpipe  :wink:

nice one  :grin: now have to go round the scrappy and find a mk2 8v gti. went around the scrapper today and none of them have any drivers. so hopefully have more luck with the 8v gti

where about are you based?

after I moved to Bristol I've not seen any scrappies  :laugh:, no like back in Scotland I could get bits and pieces nae bother!

sharpie mate, wanna come hunting, i know i think 95% if not all of em around this way that are worth visiting  :grin:

me and me mate regularly go on a friday arvo when he has half a day.. gotta head back to one out radstock (bumpkin) way soon  :laugh:

sounds like a plan, gies a pm or start a new thread and see who else is up for it (but no too many or we'll be fightin over bits!!  :grin:)
