Title: will mk4 golf alloys fit a mk3 gti?
Post by: mattosmoknd on 22 February 2007, 23:16
a mate of mine has some 15" wheels with 195/65/15 tyres on... will they fit on his mk3 gti 8v.... they are 5 x 100 so i know that much, but with the tyres being so high will they squeeze under the arches? has anyone got mk4 golf alloys fitted? as these tyre sizes seem to be standard on them! but just look worringly high walled..

cheers,
matt

the wheels will fit but those tyres are way to big for a mk3

Yea max profile should be no more than 55 on a Mk3.

So the wheels would be fine but not the tyres.
