Title: Calling Dubbers In The East
Post by: SpearMintTom on 22 February 2007, 15:51
I know there are a few meets here and there planned, but since I can design websites & as a student have alot of spare time on my hands I figured I would create a website for the East of England to organise ourselves by. - A decent one.

And so.. I have just purchased the domain: EastCoastDubbers.co.uk

Hosting is being setup over the next 24 hour period and i've already started work on the website design.

My first thoughts are to use it for those of us in Norwich & the surrounding Norfolk area to chat, organise events, meets with decent numbers & actually make a decent site for all those Dubbers out there whether you've got a Polo, Golf, Scirroco - of all ages. The other reason i've started it is because basically I know there are alot of people who have MK1s in the Norfolk area and they all complain of not knowing anyone else with them. - So here's our chance!

Anybody out there who is willing to:
- Spread the word
- Admin / Moderator on the site
- Help with web programming
- Help with web graphics / flash

Please get in contact with me via Private Message.

Interesting choice of domain name. You buy that from the owner or had it expired?
