Whats is the bggest battery that you can fit onto a mk2 golf GTI16v with out making any changes to fit..

if you want to run an uprated battery then your alternator must be uprated also if it is to charge it

i run a std 65amp battery in mine

For capacity, look for batteries for Mercs, Saabs and Volvos, iirc they can be over 100A to power crank those big engines and power all that heated seat crap

didnt think there was much difference in actual size dimension wise??
