Title: has anyone got bubbling rubber window surrounds
Post by: EvilScotsman on 19 February 2007, 23:09
The rubber surrounds on my front windows are bubbling from inside the rubber. Can you get these as replacements and are they fittable in the driveway?

Where would you buy these......cheers

Best bet is a scrap yard........I had this on my last 2 mk3's but luckily on different sides and when i broke the older one i swapped to make a good pair...they only slot into the window area and I just let the window down, removed the mirror and out it came

Ah superb Boney - cheers!

Sounds nice and easy so i'll go hunting the breakers at the weekend. Was dreading it as i thought it would be a nightmare like refitting the bonded windows  cheered me up no end lol
