Title: door pops

Hi

I Just bought a mk2 golf with clifford g5 already fitted, my question is i want to use 2 of the outputs it has as door pops for the rear doors, does it need a relay between the alarm and the solenoid??

Best to Relay it, not sure of the current draw you can have from the outputs and those solenoids use quite a bit of power to pop doors,  don't forget to fuse the feeds to the relay :)

I am using solenoids that i bout from volks apart but they dont seem strong enough, do i need to connect it to the handle wire or on the actual door latch?
