Just bought myself a new car. sticking with the trust i had in my old mk3 i've bought another.
apparently it's a very rare model?
it's a mk3 golf avantgarde cabrio. unsure whether the infomation i have on the car is correct i am unsure whether to touch anything on it if it is that rare?
it is a mint condition white model with body colour bumpers and gti arches, only 50k on the clock for a 96 model with full service every 7.5k.
whats your opinion?
pics coming soon.............

sounds like a nice car mate
I got this from google:
"The Avantgarde Cabriolet has twin headlamps, sports seats, electric hood (optional on 1.8, standard on 2.0), alloy wheels, sports suspension, electrically operated heated mirrors and a trip computer. "
Like a GTi convertible. It probably is rare as golfs go but not so rare that you shouldnt touch it lol (thinking likes of 1959 ferrari spyder or vintage 30's rolls-royce hehe)
Google had loads of links about it - a lot of them classified ads.

I reckon mine's slightly rarer...  it was imported from Japan last year... it's a Golf 2.0SE Cabriolet. It's done only 48k miles... 10k by me... it's stunningly immaculate under the bonnet... it's got a walnut dash, heated seats, 6 CD changer, air con, sat nav, tv receiver with 5" TFT screen, power hood, and it was a bargain. It's got a square number plate at the back and a high level brakelight... which makes it a bit rarer too... not sure I like that though...
