Your help is needed!
On average to a full tank of petrol I can get approx 350 miles out of it but the other day I had to fill it up after getting only 230 miles out of a full tank
Does anyone know the reason for the massive drop?
Any clues would be really appreciated

Small fuel leak on a pipe?
I had a major fuel leak on my Rallye before Xmas and lost 1/4 tank in less than a mile!

i get low milage to a tank atm and its only a 1.3.. maybe seals and lines need a full check through, also got the flange block for carb to manifold, and soemtiems get a smell of petrol in the car.. i tihkn its coming through the flange onto the manifold and burning off altohugh minimal on the mani, hmm.
what selas and stuff are there throughout a mk2 fuel system?

It could also be A fuel hose thats knackered....

ive been meaning to get round to doing all my hoses, check the tank alnd all round, and clean the emsh inside the tank by the lift pump.. jsut tihkning while its all open if theres any seals jsut do afull voerhaul, the carb flange is the big importance atm though, admitted.
