Title: Digifant Problems

Hi all ive got a 91 8v and the other day it wouldnt start when i turned the key just got a click, all the dash lights come on but the starter wont kick in just that click, turned out to be a loose battery terminal so after sorting this it started but started running a bit rough and died when i dipped the clutch, sometimes it startes but most of the time i just get that clicking noise and the remote central locking keyfob sometimes doesnt work aswell any help would be appreciated

sounds like the battery is on it's last legs

remove & clean up all the battery/starter & alternator cables with sandpapaer till they're shiny, and replace the blue temp sender with a new one from VW.
