-
sounds like fun!
So, my question is, what time did you end up posting in the Punto??!! ;D
-
managed to get 17.4 secs, had a real crap start. From what i saw i reckon a PD Golf would get 16 secs (based on the skoda)
I did'nt see the smoke till after i finished, even so, going up the strip is areal buzz.

Would have loved to have come to santa pod today, however i was actually working on a car instead.
Mk2 wishbone bushes and anti roll bar drop links.
If you want to do the job yourself then don't bother :D

We have GOT TO SORT A MEET UP SOON!!!!!!!!!
-
Santa Pod is a real good day out, plus you don't get all the rules and sh!t like at bigger events, eg you can all park in groups, and no queues to get in or out!!!
-
agree, pod is an ace day out, been there for bugjams for nearly ten years and done drag racing there on my old gsxr1100l drag bike, have been down the strip in a variety of cars also (on run what u brung section of bugjam ) rs turbs, r5 turbs etc but nowt as quick as me bike!!! used to pull 11.88 on my cbr 600, then when got used to the suzuki i could get early 9's. will have a look at pod site and see the planner for the year, i think a vw event would be better as its all vw's together S11eps was on about it yesterday but the meet he was on about was too near to gti international, so any alternative dates inbetween this years vw shows would be a good day out i reckon!! ;D

I have been going to the pod for the last 6yrs to watch the European drag finals, usualy 1st week in Sept. Exelent weekend, 8 thousand hp top fuel dragsters :o.
Will be there again this year ;D.
