Title: vw stud diameter/wheel fitment

i bought a set of alloys off a mate to pt on my mk3 gti and for some reason the stud pattern is bigger
the wheels came off of a passat not quite sure of wat year but thinks its a 51 plate.

i thought all vw stud patterns were the same and all the wheels were interchangable.

whats with the different stud diameter

i think all newer dubs are now changing to 5x112, same as audi have done.

Might be able to get them on using wobble bolts, but i doubt it.
