The drivers seat base section feels like its sagging, or slightly twisted (but looks fine?) is this a common problem, and is it possible to use the base section and wings from a passenger side ?
Any help appreciated

joe, as you seem to be master of trimming..
my drivers seat cloth has rode up a big rib in the center of the seat and im worrid one day its gonna pull and tear.. is there anyway of pulling it flat or ironing it out or something along those lines?
-
not sure i understand, but if you take the seta cover off you will be able to iron it flat. the problem is these seats are old, the foam underneath the seat cover degrades and gets a bit sloppy and the sort of cloth 'subframe' that holds the wires, also degrades and tears meaning saggy covers!

Spot on thanks. Easy job ?

yep, just seperate the top and bottom halves of the seat by taking off the plastic covers and removing the sliding clip. then go round the base of the seat un hooking the retaining wire as you go. lift off and do the same on the other side, it can be a bit fiddly removing the foam from the seat cover but nothing a bit of common sense won't cure! re-fitting is the reversal of removal, as good old haynes manuals say!
