Hey guys,
I'm considering changing my air filter to purhaps a K&N filter but I noticed that there is what looks like recycled air from the engine going from the engine into the air filter, can I still change my filter to a K&N filter or purhaps a pod filter?

Yes you can still use a K&N. you just pull the warm air hose up close as you can.

If its the rubber hose your refering to, you'll either need to buy a induction kit for the 16v so it attachs to the cone/intake pipe or get a universal and also get a breather filter for the rubber hose. It would prob be cheaper to get the uni cone/breather but takes a bit more effort to make it fit/work.
