Title: Just declared my car off the road

Painful as it is ive had to take my car off the road. Being a poor student i cant afford the payments on my insurance  :'(. Anyone recommed any cheap insurance companys that i could try? Gutted

have a look in some of the volkswagen magazines theres a few companies who specialise in volkswagens,they might be able to give you a better quote. good luck hope you can stay on the road :)

im with highway motor insurance on my 8v
25 with 7 points 3ncb and its ?509
hill house hammond are a good one as well
not sure what norwich union mean by quote me happy
ther seem bunch of wayne kerrs

cant you get a pass plus? Is it too late for that ???

once you get a pass plus, your insurance would probably be ?800

I have sorted it out  ;D ;D ;D ;D My dads insured my car for himself and any other driver (including those under 25). CIS said ?430 fully comp with ?50 excess and no claims protection! Thank you very much CIS the MK2 rolls on!

I need a new amp at the moment so its not as loud as it could be, but its well clear!

Had the mats custom made for me at rolls royce, ( the only good thing to come out of crewe)

Same mate :) mums insurance. 18 years old, 1.
6 driver 4 door and im with the CIS insurance group :)

Just a word of warning lads, if you do insure it in your mum/dads name you need to register the car to them as well otherwise if you do have a claim and sent the logbook you could well be up sh!t stree t when the insurers refuse to pay. I work for an insurance brokers so have seen this happen :(

I have no trouble what so ever cos there isnt one in it!  :-X If im going on a long journey i chuck the space saver and jack on the back seat.
