Title: Help- illumination wire!!

Anyone know what colour the illum wire is that connects to the stereo on a Mk2?  Mine has been cut close to the plug and need to connect it up again if possible.  Fed up with being blinded by my head unit at night!!

Light fading, I am struggling!

its normally orange i think, but not too sure, never had to use this much id just be going off memory of lables i have seen on previous connector blocks i have had, and this would be the one off the stereo, not in the wiring loom, i have no idea about that one.

Have identified one on stereo, but struggling on loom.  Wait until morning light to work again!

im not too sure like i said but i would be inclined to think they wouldnt, ive had a few cars and only the newer ones have had that feature, not that im suggesting you get a new car! dont they are all S**T! some HUs you can adjust the brightness if this would be any help.
