Hey guys
Anyone replaced their exhaust manifold on a 8v digi? Is it something you can do on your drive with basic tools and knowledge? Anyone got a how to guide?
Also anyone selling a second hand 1?
Thanks

Depends when it was last taken off. Mine was an absolute pig when removing my head. It's possible to do on your drive but I'd put it on axle stands. There is a chance that if you can't get the nuts off (or they are rounded like mine were) that you'll have to use other means like a blow torch or hammer a smaller size socket onto the nut to remove it. I had even more of an issue seperating the exhaust from the downpipe and had to remove the downpipe/exhaust manifold assembly from the car to get some acetylene torches on it to get the nuts off.
