I got one for you guys...
Trying to replace the blower unit on our MK3 and replacement unit got caught on something and the plastic fan unit shattered!!
As the new unit has a perfect motor and the car has AC (so the units are a bit more pricey than normal units) can anyone tell me if it's possible to remove the plastic fan unit from the old motor and transfer to the replacement unit??
It looks like it's held in by a bolt at the top but with no marking on the head to remove with a spanner/key/screwdriver...
should i try and take the whole unit apart???
All advice appreciated.
