How much wider are G60 rear arches than standard gti ones, Big bumper model.

I think the G60's are 70mm and the standards are 55mm. Anyone got ETKA to hand...?

^^ That sounds like the difference in the fronts to me, the backs seem barely different

I was told by the main agents that the rears are the same on the big bumper model and the g60's.

well Dub-77 your dealer was wrong ;)
I've heard its like 4-5mm, but they are definitly wider :)

i fitted some g60 rears on my oaky yesterday they are much wider, :grin: they are wider than the 16v fronts. makes the stance look much better.  :wink:

if you want wide rear arches you can use th efront ones on the back, i think is see a MK2 with this done on it a while back... lookd koool.. :cool:

Yeah someone put front G60 arches on the rear, as H-Bomb mentioned, pic of this is below, is this the car you meant?  :wink:

i only have g60 fronts onat the moment as i thought they were not much wider
but when i measured them i want some

oh and thats my next mod taking the side strips off
like on that picture looks wicked

how hard would front arches be to fit on the rear does any modding of the skirt need to be done

do u have 2 modify the side skirts 2 fit the g60 front arches coz the bottom of the arch that joins the side skirt is longer on the back arches than on the front

oh wait i see what your getting at, you may have to shorten the skits a bit, but there is a 5cmish gap between the arches & skirts on the 90 spec kits, so you may be ok!
