Title: golf clocks

i got a mk2 golf 1.3 1996 nd just bought sum new clocks with rev counter out of gti i think but will it just got straight in or will i need extra wiring for the rev counter to get that to work?

If you get the right model clocks, they'll plug straight in and work.  If your hazard switch is on the dash, you'll need 2 plug clocks, and if the hazard switch is on the column you need single plug clocks.  The MFA wont work without the stalk and a bit of wiring, but without the stalk the MFA will just display as a digital clock :)

ok mate cheers my hazards are on the dash and the clocks im fitting have a plug for speedo and a plug for rev counter so they wont fit straight in then?

If you have the hazard switch on the dash, you'll need the early 2 plug clocks. I take it you meant to say 1986 yes?  If so that will defo have the early 2 plug clocks :)
