Title: 16v running temp?

took the Clacker out for a decent run this aft, noticed that the temp gauge was sitting between half & three quaurters with the oil temp at 106. Whats the norm temp on these & when should the fan kick in, is there a problem looming???

sounds fine to me, my valver sits bang on the contre of the gauge, until sitting in traffic the it rises a tiny bit. Oil temp with std. driving is around 102-110, in traffic sometime gets up to 120, which is a bit high due to an old oil pump I suspect, but yours is fine.
