Title: replacing speedo

Hi im getting a speedo with rev from my golf i was wondering whats the best way to replace it is it best to clock back the new speedo to match the milage on my golf and put the whole lot in (if so how would i clock it back) or would i just swap the speedo parts around. what would be the easyest.
