Just got these off ebay, apparently vw wheels from a mk2 golf. 15", unsure of width, offset is 33. Anyone know what they are?

They could be ronals, they look like BBS copies, I have the RAs and they look similar but they are certainly not those. Will look really nice after a refurb  Have you got the centre caps?
-
Unfortunately no centre caps, but they look like they have a flat surface for the caps to be seated on so I can't imagine it being too hard to make some.
What do people think for a refurb? I was thinking pollished lip with gunmetal grey centres (seeing as my car is atlas grey) or maybe a satin black. Don't know if the world needs another set of wheels with pollished lips and black centres though! Whatever i go for i'm going to do it myself though
Any ideas welcomed!

You can get the width and ET from the code stamped in the rim (somewhere.... Looks like it might be where the cap goes, difficult to tell on that pic). This site will help to decode the code and also help to select a tyre size to match your cars rolling radius! stick with the site it's complicated but helpfull! http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible.html .
Before you spend to much time or money make sure the wheels aren't to damaged i.e any majour kerbing and run true i.e straight (Not sure how you can check this at home?? may be find a flat surface and use a level across the face in multiple directions?)
Good Luck, Post some pics when you are finished!

Right, i have found out they have Fondmetal cast into them.
Don't suppose that jogs anyone's memory at all does it? Just trying to find some centre caps but a google search hasn't shown any wheels that look the same

Picked them up today, they're 14" not 15"

If you got them from ebay, you should have told him to take a hike, they aren't what was advertised, therefore voided the sale!!

I only found out after driving from Oxford to Poole, so it would have been even more of a waste of petrol if i didn't buy them! We came to a deal though, not sure if it was that good to be honest!
