any ideas how it works
-
pull the fuse for 30 seconds :)
-
i will try it
-
Just tried that on mine and it didn't work. I pulled fuse no. 16 which says it's the combi instrument and glovebox light. i presume it's the right one?
-
on a 90 spec MK2 or MK3 its # 3, on a pre-90 MK2 its #21
-
Ah tis a 90 spec mk2 and it still wont work. Dammit!
-
check out the braided earth cable from the rocker cover to the coil bracket next, then retry the fuse. You'll know its the right one when the MFA goes blank ;)
-
Cable seems ok but it still dont work. On my fusebox cover it says that fuse 3 is for the rear numberplate lights
These are motometer clocks btw
-
haha I'm officially a mupet, its the other way round!
pre 90 is #3, post 90 is #21
-
Still no worky! I think i need new clocks
-
sounds like it :(
Did the MFA display go blank? The other optiuon is to disconnect the battery for 30 seconds ;)
-
MFA went blank. Will try the battery tomorrow.
-
Battery is the solution on mine as I disconnect it at night and this happens quite often. Just take it off again and re-connect.
