is there any mot spec for fog lights. would it matter if i buy from a german company?

They drive on the opposite side of the road so they will be the wrong way round! lol.

No seriously, I don't think the fogs have the lense pointing a specific way light the main headlamps, as as long as they are for the Mk2 then you should be fine.
Just out of curiosity, how much are they from Germany and do they come with the brackets?

don't know. there was a set of new smoked fogs on ebay with a buy it now price of £10 but they were from a german company and i wasn't sure if they were uk legal. gone now anyway  :cry:

Before I had my Golf, I had a Cit Xsara, and for the last MOT I got there and hit lit the lights up and I thought....

Bugger, bloody fog light is out... Said to the Tester, I guess thats a fail then?

He said, nah, that aint on the test.

May have changed by now, check it, hope that helps....
