Title: What the f@ck is lol???

I've been checkin' this forum for a few days now  and have read lots of useful stuff, lots of funny stuff and lots of weird  stuff but one thing's been puzzling me and I've got to ask: What does lol mean? I see 'nuff peeps using it at the end of a sentence but cant work out what it means. Someone enlighten me! ???

he he -  :) - Remember asking exactly the same question about LOL on another forum about 12 months back - I thought it was some secret code that I wan't to be let in on  ::) ;D
