Title: R32 too slow
Post by: jv on 23 January 2004, 12:52
you know the problem, you get your R32 and the 6.4 secs to 60 just feels too slow. what do you do? upgrade of course! 3.2 secs is much more sensible  8)

why buy an R32 if your looking for performance? buy a VX220 turbo or an Elise and do it properly.

i think you need to go on a test drive. even an elise 111 would leave an R32 for dead and cost 10 grand less.

the VX is built by Lotus. it has a Vauxhall engine and a horrid badge.

but lets face it, an Exige or a VX220 Turbo would cost less than an R32 and would leave a 911 Turbo for dead. the fact you cant get a baby seat in the car is no real loss.

if you want performance, why go half measures.

^ LOL a R32 - MK2 conversion would be awsome! only it would probally be like the 20Valve NOVA conversions, Ive seen NOVAs rip in two because there engines are to powerfull  :o
