Towards the bottom of the page:
Edition 30 £19,795
R32 £21,495
They seem to claim they are not imports, but I might have missed something

No sign of them on companies house website - only looked quickly though. :huh:

These prices can't be for real surely? :shocked:

That doesn't mean much, they may have trading name or may not even be a company.
If it sounds too good to be true....

Buy the R32 - steal at that price.
Basic GTI for £17985 - similar discount to that offered by other internet based companies.
Why not put them to the test ?

I've just checked the name on google and theres a lot of people who seem to have used them. If they are genuine, I might just cancel my order and save £2k but there again I don't know if I should stick two-fingers at my local dealer because I have a pretty good relationship with them. I give them money and they take it :laugh:

Yes, but most bona fide companies have at least some indication on their website of their company name - maybe not in this case though. Their website is a bit pants afterall. And yes they may not be a company, but I'd say that's unlikely given the value of the goods they alledge to turnover every year (600 cars).

Give them a ring and sound them out - ask for references of satisfied customers.
They should give details of the 'real' institution or person behind the trading name on the website. I believe it's a requirement of section 4 of the business names act 2005.
If they are a company then the 2006 companies act requires all UK companies to publish certain details:
The First Company Law Amendment Directive came in on 1 January 2007, and you're now required to put the following information on your website and business emails:
* Company registration number
* Place of registration
* Registered office address
You're also required to have the following information on your website:
* The name, postal address and email address of the website's service provider.
* The name of any trade bodies or professional associations that the business is part of, including membership or registration details.
* Your VAT number, even if the website is not being used for e-commerce transactions.
* Any prices on the website must clearly state whether they are inclusive or exclusive of tax and delivery costs .
Personally I think the 'from' prices will only be the start!
Let buyer beware as they say...
