Title: Bluetooth for GTI again
Post by: Mutley on 02 February 2007, 00:36
Hi this is for the Doc I think

Ive ordered the multifunction steering wheel with my gti and have just bought the nokia ck-7w bluetooth kit. I was looking for the cable to connect it to my stereo so the phone audio goes through the stereo rather than the speaker that comes with the kit and found this site...
http://www.siocommunications.co.uk/06-116B.html
Now the site says that if I have the RCD500 stereo with 10 speakers that I need the following cable instead
http://www.siocommunications.co.uk/06-076B.html

Anyway heres what i need to know
Is the latter cable the one i need  and if so does anyone know a site where I can get it cheaper?
Is there a phone button on the GTI multi steering wheel and can I access my bluetooth with ?

Cheers

Chris

p.s still waiting for VW to give me a delivery date

Yes you can utilise the single phone button on your MFSW - link here - scroll to bottom of page for VW product:

This link also discusses the install in detail;

I have my Parrot CK300 Evolution, just waiting for the interface and leads to arrive from the US.
