Title: VW Golf

I am looking to buy one, i was going to go for the mk4 1.8 gti but people have said that they are not very powerfull and that i should be looking to buy one of there diesel engines instead.
Im not sure, and the information i have found on the net is just to vast with people praising the petrol with nothing good to say about the diesels ,and vice versa.
I would be gratefull for any information

if you want a mk4 buy the 1.8T . 150bhp as standard and an extra 40-50bhp with a remap.  :cool:
